In 2018, almost 39% of transactions were concluded with foreign investors from the EU. Paphos and Limassol were the most popular. Foreigners bought 103% more residential real estate in the 1-3 quarters of last year than a year earlier.
Experts also note an 8% increase in the number of issued construction permits in the first half of the year. The cost of new facilities has also grown significantly, by almost 20%.
